Joys of life must come with pain,

Fall is upon us now:
The harvest bears our labor’s reward.
Time to reflect and give our thanks
For love we shared and wine we drank.

Silently snows grow deep…
Cold, still darkness will descend.

From winter’s death blooms spring’s desire.

Do not fear the coming frost,
We can’t find what’s never lost.
